Before a new hire at your company can start using Converge to process payments, you will need to add them into Converge and assign permissions for the tasks they will be expected to perform.
Requirements
- Your account must have User Management Rights enabled.
To add a new user to Converge, complete the following steps:
1. Click the Employees tab.
2. Click Create New Employee.
3. Enter the required information into the Create New Employee form. Mandatory fields are marked with an asterisk.
4. Select terminals you want to give the user access to. You can select the terminal from the terminal drop-down list or copy the terminal list from another user.
5. Click Save.
6. Select a User Rights Profile for the new user.
-
None: This profile provides no permissions within Converge.
-
Standard: This profile provides permissions for charging basic transactions within Converge.
-
Manager: This profile provides all the permissions from the Standard profile and permissions for handling return transactions, batch transactions, tokenization transactions, and billing and invoicing.
-

You may also custom set permissions for a user, by going into each section (Transactions, Batch etc), and selecting only those permissions necessary under each section.
7. Click Save.
